National Headache Foundation Annual Benefit

Every spring, the National Headache Foundation holds its annual benefit to raise for our headache and migraine educational and research programs. The annual benefit is also an opportunity to honor deserving individuals in the headache field and kick off the events of National Headache and Migraine Awareness Month in June.

The commemorative month has been held annually since 1993 and aims to:

  • gain recognition of headache pain as a real and legitimate concern;
  • encourage individuals with headache or migraine to see a healthcare provider for proper diagnosis and treatment; and,
  • let individuals with headache or migraine know that there are new treatments available.

More information about upcoming annual benefits is available after January 1. To look back at the images of previous benefits, visit a photo gallery below:

    A FRIEND OF OURS PASSED AWAY AND ONE OF HIS DONATION CHOICES IS NATIONAL HEADACHE FOUNDATION. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT PERCENT IS ACTUALLY USED TOWARD RESEARCH AND HOW MUCH IS KEPT FOR “OPERATING EXPENSE”?

      This year, 10 percent is budgeted towards research. More is used for patient education, such as our monthly newsletter, quarterly magazine, and educational brochures. The NHF is made up of only six staff members and our Executive Chair does not receive a salary.

    How can we purchase tickets to attend the night at the museum benefit gala at the Drake Hotel on May 20, 2017? The only information that I have been able to obtain are raffle ticket purchases, but no detail on how to attend this event.
