Consultants in Behavioral Research
Tempe, Arizona
July 14, 2008 – August 13, 2008

Do you have chronic pain that has lasted for 6 months or longer? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a research study to develop an internet-based pain self-help program for people with chronic pain. The project is funded by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. We are requesting help from 10 persons with chronic pain to advise us in the development of our program so that people with pain will find the program to be understandable, easy to use, and effective. Some parts of the program will be presented online and others on paper. After reviewing each of 6 components of the program, you will be asked to answer a series of questions (either online or via a paper questionnaire) concerning your opinions about the content and the educational and technical aspects of the program. Each review is expected to take approximately 90-120 minutes.

You will receive $600 as compensation for your time. To determine if you qualify, please review the consent form and fill out the online form at http://painprogram.speedsurvey.com. You must have access to a computer with internet access, be between the ages of 25-80, and be able to speak, read, and write English.
