What is my donation doing for people with headache?
Gifts from people like you have made it possible for the National Headache Foundation to provide critical tools and resources to help people with headache get relief.
For example, in June 2009 the National Headache Foundation launched a new education portal on their website “Headache U: It’s all About You.” Developed under the guidance of an advisory panel of both physicians who specialize in headache care, and people with headache, Headache U is designed to contain a series of patient education tools and resources to help people with headache get relief.
The first module available under the Headache U portal is “Chart Your Course to Relief: a personal headache care tool,” which asks people with headache questions about their experiences, and based upon the information given, guides them toward information that is relevant to their needs.
These are just two examples of the many valuable programs the National Headache Foundation has created. Future plans include expanding on current resources with Spanish-language versions; creating a “Chart Your Course to Relief” tool geared toward adolescents with headache; and, as always, continuing to build on our existing base with the latest information available from the most credible sources. Your suggestions for additional programs are also welcome. Please contact us.
In addition, donations to the National Headache Foundation help support important research for improving headache treatment and care. Click the following link to view our most recent research projects.
If headache has impacted your life or the life of a friend or family member, please make a personal investment in the advancement of headache care by donating to the National Headache Foundation.
