Research Study Open to Children with Headaches

The National Headache Foundation (NHF) is distributing information about a new headache research study which is currently recruiting children with headache. This study is being conducted by a North Texas primary care pediatric research group and is not one in which the NHF has an active part.

 

Pediatricians are conducting this study of a new internet-based headache management training program. 

To be eligible for this study, participants must be:

• 7 to 12 years of age
• Experiencing recurrent headaches

All study-related activity is provided at no cost to the participant.  Most study participation is completed online from a personal computer.  No medications are involved.   Information obtained in this study is kept strictly confidential unless disclosure is required by law.  Your information will not be shared with anyone outside of the study project   However, you may receive follow up communication via email or telephone from the physician or study coordinator for the project.

 

Not all children who are evaluated will qualify to take part in this study.
