Migraine and Quality of Life

Adults ages 18 to 75 who have migraines and are experiencing distress are invited to participate in a University of Iowa research study. The goal of the study is to assess whether a brief, one-hour video can lead to improvements in headache, mood, and quality of life.

For more information, or to see if you are eligible, you may complete an online survey at:  or you may call 319-384-2845.

Do MIGRAINES have you sleeping the day away?

Are you 18-65 years of age?

Have you had a diagnosis of migraines for at least 1 year, with between 2 & 8 migraines per month?

Qualified participants will receive study-related care and study medication at no charge.  Financial compensation may also be available up to $200 for time and travel expenses.

Apply here or call 336.714.7672 for more information.

There are numerous trials of new medications and procedures for treating headache. The National Headache Foundation cannot objectively evaluate, and does not make any representations as to, whether any of these medications and procedures are appropriate for you and if it would be in your best interest to participate in any such trials. If you are interested in any trial, you should consult with your physician.

Just a note of thanks to the NHF for hosting these helpful online seminars.  The recent "Fibromyalgia and Migraine" was the second Webinar I've attended, and I learned a great deal.

The Webinars are easy to log into, the presentations are professional, and the presenters do not "talk down" to their auditors. The NHF is apparently choosing subject matter experts with care, and the information is up-to-date.

Again, thank you for the hard work. I look forward to future Webinars.
