Certificate of Added Qualification in Headache Management

Founded in 1998, the National Board for Certification in Headache Management is a non-profit organization created to recognize physicians with an advanced level of experience in headache management to maximize the quality of care for headache patients by awarding the Certificate of Added Qualification in Headache Management (CAQ).  The CAQ is  a professional designation given to a group of physicians who have dedicated the majority of their practice to headache management and have demonstrated a commitment to helping headache sufferers. Physicians who apply for the Certificate of Added Qualification in Headache Management must be either a M.D. or D.O. with a majority of their practice dedicated to headache, have a primary certification in their recognized specialty, and multiple CME credit hours in Headache Management.
