J. Stanley Hull
Stan most recently served as Senior Vice President for the Pharmaceuticals Business Division of GlaxoSmithKline. His responsibilities included leading the sales and marketing efforts of the business division as well as to represent the company in external activities.
He has been in the pharmaceutical industry for over 31 years and with GlaxoSmithKline since 1987. He has served in a number of sales and marketing roles. Prior to his current position, he served in the R&D organization of GlaxoSmithKline as Vice President and Worldwide Director of Therapeutic Development and Product Strategy-Neurology and Psychiatry. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Marketing-Infectious Diseases and Gastroenterology for Glaxo Wellcome Inc.
Stan has served on variety of external committees designed to further education in the sciences and has served as a Director on the Board of the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine Foundation. In addition, he also serves as a board member of the American Lung Association of North Carolina and the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the board of Palatin, a biopharmaceutical company.
Stan is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and, although a native of North Carolina, has lived in Philadelphia and London.
